Entlassen Ins Nichts: Reportagen Über Arbeitslosigkeit 1918 bis heute

This book seems to be a collection of essays studying German unemployment between 1918 and the then present (1983). The front cover depicts a jobless man in a photograph taken by August Sander in 1928.

Interestingly, the book’s back cover image is Robert Frank’s famous US 285, New Mexico, made in 1955, and reproduced in The Americans.
